As a Senior Client Platform Engineer at Attentive, you will have the opportunity to design, build and deploy the key endpoint infrastructure that makes Attentive employees productive and secure. You have a passion for problem solving, are comfortable seeing a project through from start to end, including identifying areas for improvement, researching the best way to tackle the problem, being able to describe to others why you chose the approach you did, and then implementing excellent solutions; you are both a thinker and a doer. You are creative and utilize your resources to find new ways of looking at old problems. You also love automating things, we want to work smarter, not harder! The ideal candidate will have experience with Bash, Python, Jamf, AzureAD, Intune, Microsoft Graph, Powershell scripting, GAM, Google Workspace Admin, and feels comfortable setting up new MDM solutions, deploying policies, configurations, applications and updates to the entire fleet of macOS, Windows, iOS and Chrome Browser. Experience with Kandji or Mosyle is a plus.

What you’ll do at Attentive:

    • Evaluate and implement appropriate MDM solutions for a distributed Mac fleet
    • Design and build zero touch deployment solutions for Mac and Windows
    • Create management policies for the endpoint fleet that ensure device standard compliance, proactive patching, remediation of known CVE’s
    • Provide regular reporting of fleet performance and health against key metrics
    • Create robust self service policies for end users that enable immediate productivity and provide ticket deflection from the Helpdesk
    • Keep current on Apple’s product developments, capabilities, and bugs, as well as, familiarity with the competitive landscape of tooling for macOS management
    • Draft and edit documentation as part of project deliverables and keep it up-to-date with current state
    • Set hardware and software standards for deployment, whitelisting and blacklisting
    • Work cross functionally with our Security team and leaders across the organization to ensure our endpoint management program meets the needs of our key stakeholders

About you:

    • 7+ years of experience building from idea to hands on implementation with endpoint management software
    • Expert-level experience using at least two industry standard MDM solutions including but not limited to Jamf Pro, SCCM, Intune, Kandji, Mosyle, etc.
    • Expert-level experience with managing, deploying, and troubleshooting macOS Mojave and later, Windows 10, iOS 13 and later,
    • Proven expertise packaging applications, managing patch compliance, and software distribution
    • 5+ years of experience scripting (Bash, Python, Powershell) automated solutions for deploying or managing devices beyond out of the box MDM capabilities
    • Proven experience integrating MDM solutions with world class IDPs via SCIM or other protocols (Okta preferred)
    • Comfortable working and deploying via code (Git, Terraform, Yaml, etc)

- The standard base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $225,000 annually.
  • This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
