What would I do?

• Develop CMM programming scripts and program a variety of coordinate measuring machines' code lines.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure that information and data transfer effectively to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
• Continuously improve procedures, processes, and methods to ensure zero escapes on all inspections.
• Maintain CMM machines to include probe qualifications, calibration, and regular cleaning. Works with engineering and manufacturing engineering to optimize measurements of critical features and tightly toleranced machined parts.

Essential Skills & Experience:

For this role we are ideally looking for someone who has...

• 6 years or more experience as a CMM Programmer for an engineering or manufacturing/machining company, working on parts and components manufactured to high precision and close tolerances (the CMMs we tend to use are Zeiss and Leitz)
• PC-DMIS experience is essential, as that is what we use here, but additional experience in one of the following alternatives is also interesting to us: GAGEpack, Verisurf, Polyworks, Calypso, OpenDMIS, Q-DAS
