Job description

We are looking for a candidate who brings a background in developing sustainable controls and compliance solutions. The successful candidate will have the technical proficiency to focus on definition, design, and execution to validate the multiple control environments as well as troubleshooting. The successful candidate will also be required to perform the creation of instructions and supporting documentation.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Accountable for financial and operational SOX documentation and testing across the organization.
  • Work with accounting, business leaders, and digital technology to maximize the ease of performing business functions without compromising the controlled environment.
  • Develop and perform audit activities to ensure compliance with key controls
  • Assist with the reporting and metrics to senior management for Representation Letter sign-off
  • Perform segregation of duties and system security user access reviews
  • Provide focused communications and awareness to all members of the organization • Understanding the unique nature of field organizations
  • Applying ASC 606 criteria to a Field Service organization with multiple revenue streams, incl. Percentage-of-Completion projects, Service Agreements, and Billable Services.
  • Monitoring of local business unit and Carrier policy compliance for a highly dispersed field operation across North America

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of SOX requirements and control processes
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across a wide audience, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams
  • Creative approach to problem resolution
  • Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Experience using Salesforce and large ERPs; SAP S4HANA specific experience a plus
  • Prior HVAC Industry experience is a plus

Education:

  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • MS/MS/MBA degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • CPA is highly preferred
