Tenet Healthcare currently seeks to add a member of Senior Counsel in the Law Department. This Senior Counsel position will support and liaise with Tenet’s enterprise procurement function, providing legal review and guidance in connection with proposed contractual arrangements.

This in-house role will be located in the Dallas corporate office.

Qualifications – External

Requirements include:

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited institution
• At least 3 plus years of experience in corporate contracting, ideally in supply chain and outsourcing
• Experience in health care law and in transactional matters is preferred
• Prior large law firm experience is preferred
• Possess research, analytical, organizational, and computer skills
• Must be able to work independently but within a team framework
• Must have strong communication skills and be extremely responsive
• Strong customer service orientation, meticulous attention to detail and initiative.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, team player and work well in high-energy, faced paced environment.
• The individual filling this position must also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, including top executives and outside counsel.
• This position will involve handling confidential matters requiring the exercise of good judgment and discretion.
