Job description
The qualified candidate will join the Fluke Engineering team, based in Everett, WA and be responsible for designing, modifying and evaluating electronic circuits, subsystems or other hardware elements of Fluke products. The engineer will collaborate with business and engineering leadership teams and will help maintain and implement the product vision, roadmap and product initiatives. The role requires a person who can interact with a diverse and very skilled team of engineers, collaborate on tasks across global sites and functions, and derive clear direction from ambiguity.Responsibilities:
Work with internal and external teams to develop, improve, and maintain Fluke Test and Measurement products
High performance analog and digital circuit design and analysis for customer applications
Participate and lead design for reliability, error analysis, design for manufacturing, and compliance with international standards
Partner with test engineers to develop and implement design validation plans for new and existing products to ensure quality designs
Influence and continuously improve engineering team best practices
Influence design tradeoff decisions
B.S/M.S in Electrical Engineering with strong theoretical background
Minimum 10 years experience in product development and electronic circuit design
Circuit design experience of high-performance analog, high-speed digital circuits and mixed signal microcontroller based designs
Digital design experience (VHDL, Verilog, Altera, Lattice, Tools) is plus.
Proficient in ECAD design tools, SPICE, MATLAB and Linux
Experience in embedded system design: C, C++ is a plus
Familiarity with circuit troubleshooting, electromagnetic compliance and international safety standards and compliance is a plus
