Job Description:

  • Assist the Division Chief and Branch Chiefs by being an authoritative source of information including benefits and constraints of multiple architectures and solutions.
  • Enable organizations to align their enterprise to meet their goals, objectives, and requirements in fulfilling their responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing and integrating policies, acquisitions, and integrations across programs
  • Influence and be a basis for investment planning decisions
  • Apply to Modernization, Innovation, and Transformation initiatives
  • Promote and encourage adherence to common approaches and reuse:
  • Collaborate across and within organizations to identify key areas of concern and build consensus on appropriate courses of action
  • Concentrate on capability concepts unconstrained by implementation details in delivery of systems, services, and solutions
  • Serve as a tool for providing common information, lexicon, guidance, approaches, and direction to guide and constrain architectures and solutions
  • Define and guide future state architecture including:
  • Define, develop and/or maintain roadmaps
  • Define and/or develop the business architecture
  • Enable information strategy
  • Articulate business outcomes
  • Enable innovation initiatives
  • Define governance
  • Guide solutions delivery
  • Define current state architecture
  • Developed using EA frameworks and tools

Position requires the following qualifications:

  • Fifteen (15) years of experience with BPMN, UML, UPDM, SysML
  • Minimum of one (3) year of experience in Protégé, Top Braid, EA ontology building, etc.
  • Minimum of one (3) year of experience in DoDAF, UAF, and/or TOGAF
  • Ability to effectively communicate with partners across DoD to increase interoperability
  • Expertise with No Magic’s MagicDraw, UNICOM’s System Architect, SparX System Enterprise Architect
  • Experience with multiple system architecture software tools utilized by DoD
  • Understanding of statistics, provenance, and attribute applications
  • Active TS/SCI eligible
