Now Hiring:

We have 1 immediate opening for a Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician. This person will have an engineer-mindset and the ability to maintain and repair more than 15 different 3D Printers and systems as well as 7 large scale CNC Milling Machines. 3D Printers functions and methodologies include:

  • Laser Metal Fusion
  • Material Jetting
  • SLA
  • SLS
  • FDM (Non - production, used for tools and projects only)

Hours:

Standard business hours with flexible start/end times. Ability to respond to issues with machinary quickly to keep production moving.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with subtractive/additive manufacturing systems. Must have in depth knowledge of SLA/SLS, FDM, and Material Jetting 3D printing procedures.
  • Laser Metal Fusion experience is recommended
  • Repair and Maintenance of more than 15 different 3D Printers and Systems.
  • Repair and Maintenance of large scale CNC Milling machines
  • Investigate and collaborate with the fabrication team the fundamental relationships between printing parameters, biomaterial properties, and print quality.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitive products, dental procedures, and applicable new technologies.
  • Provide verbal and written reports of activities to management.
  • Conduct literature / web-based searches to assist in designing experiments, developing test methods, and finding sources for experimental materials.
  • Verbal and written communication skills (Able to understand, document, and explain technical issues).
  • Good mechanical and electrical knowledge (Have an understanding of components, their operation, and how they function in an integrated system).
  • Able to analyze recurring issues/problems. Identify root cause and implement viable long-term solutions.
  • Knowledgeable of AC/DC voltages and able to interpret electrical drawings
  • Knowledgeable of mechanical systems. Can read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings.
  • Knowledgeable of pneumatic systems and able to interpret drawing.
  • Able to utilize resources (test equipment, drawings, technical manuals, user manuals, etc.) to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Ability to design and fabricate utilizing hand tools and/or power tools.
  • Adheres to safety standards. Promotes a safe work environment. If necessary, identifies and corrects safety concern, and conducts training of new safety protocol.
