Insight Education Group is seeking a full-time Senior Event Manager to design and execute Insight’s annual events for educators. Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Event Manager will plan the logistics of approximately six in-person events per year to help amplify Insight’s visibility and growth.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including venue selection, contract negotiations, travel arrangements, attendee registration, catering, AV, materials, and program development
  • Work with leadership to develop event budgets and objectives
  • Manage event timelines and lead internal planning meetings
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop content and materials to support event promotion
  • Partner with the Business Development team to ensure events are leveraged to generate new business opportunities
  • Oversee attendee experience from conception through post-event, managing on-site preparations (e.g. registration and shipping), production, and event breakdown, ensuring consistent, high-level service throughout all phases
  • Respond to inquiries from prospective attendees, registered attendees, speakers, and VIPs
  • Serve as point person for VIPs on site
  • Print, make copies, ship materials
  • Troubleshoot and handle any issues that arise on site
  • Pivot to virtual events if needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of event management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Location

Insight Education Group is a virtual company. We seek to hire the best person for the position, regardless of location. The location for this position is flexible.

The majority of the time this position will work from home; however, this role will require travel to events.

Compensation
The salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience and location.
