POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for collection of operational and financial data to produce reports for management in an accurate and timely manner. Under limited supervision, maintains and creates data models as necessary to support new and ongoing operational and analytical metric reporting.
This is an exempt position reporting to the Director of Finance.
Essential Functions:

  • Use and/or develop data models to collect, analyze, and report key metrics from

multiple data sources.
o Prepare data for processing by organizing information, checking for inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighting the raw data
o Provide reports, analyses, and predictions based on data
o Generate standard or custom reports and analysis
o Produce charts and graphs or other visual data to illustrate technical reports

  • Coordinate, evaluate and complete data reporting projects

o Identify and define project requirements
o Effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff to obtain thorough understanding of project

  • Prepare financial forecasts and other financial related reports for management or audit purposes.
  • Promote and facilitate stakeholder development by maintaining ongoing interactions that increases their awareness, understanding, accountability, and engagement in the reporting process
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose data quality issues and anomalies and offer data findings and analysis outcomes.
  • Utilize expertise as subject matter professional with a thorough understanding of reporting requirements, end to end reporting processes, and data needed to deliver accurate and complete financial reporting
  • Assist with preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field (required); Master’s degree preferred
  • 4-6 years’ experience with similar functions in a related field
  • Excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, and ethical conduct required; Detail oriented with good business acumen
  • Demonstrated self-development skills, ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Ability to analyze data or information, Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts
  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting systems, and legal entities
  • Expert Excel skills including model building, VLookup function and pivot tables is required
  • Intermediate skills with Tableau (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Sage Intacct and AdvancedMD (preferred) • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
