Senior H.V.A.C. DDC Control System Technician

Standard Air & Lite Corp, the Distributor for Carrier H.V.A.C. Equipment & DDC Control systems for Western Pennsylvania, is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team and fill the following job opportunity.

Position: Senior HVAC DDC Control Technician

We are seeking a self-motivated individual, who is currently employed in the Commercial HVAC Controls System Industry to join our team. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and able to work within a group as well as with minimal supervision. Successful candidates must possess strong computer and verbal skills. Applicant must possess a valid current PA driver’s license. Applicants will be required to pass background and drug screening checks. Position will include a combination of field and office duties. The percentage of field to office will vary with workloads. A minimum of 3 years current working experience with H.V.A.C. DDC controls is required. Education in commercial HVAC control systems is a must, knowledge of building controls is required . Knowledge of the Carrier Control System or Niagara based products is a plus. Standard Air & Lite has recently taken on a Niagara based control line in addition to Carrier controls and is looking for a qualified individual to be part of the team. There is room for advancement for the right person. Duties to include:

Field Duties:

• Point to point checkout.
• BACnet DDC control system start up and programming.
• In warranty service calls.
• Post warranty service calls.

• Strong communication and verbal skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Basic computer networking skills.
