JOB TITLE : Senior Healthcare Recruiter

DEPARTMENT : Business Operations

COMPENSATION : Base Salary plus commission

JOB DESCRIPTION :

A. Purpose and Scope

Under the general supervision of the CEO and Regional Director, the Senior Healthcare Recruiter maintains good relationship with clients and all key persons and to ensure that all client staffing needs are met, and expectations are satisfied. The Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment, credentialing, and placement of clinical and non-clinical candidates.

B. Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  Drive the hiring process for all open healthcare positions in the organization.
• Responsible for researching and contacting healthcare professionals via Internet, hiring platforms, mail, nursing and medical schools, and job fairs.
• Recruiting and interviewing healthcare professionals.
• Proper review of the prospective healthcare employee’s resume and credentials to create a job match with clients.
• Develops assessment tools, evaluates selection process (i.e., interviews, skills assessments, competency questionnaires, etc.).
• Prepares recruitment materials such as brochures and promotional items.
• Lead the development and ongoing use of systems to enhance the recruitment process.
• Develops relationships with key person(s) in career centers, job development agencies, etc.
• Keeps abreast of employment legislation.
• Full clerical work such as scanning, (physical and electronic) filing, document, or profile organization.
• Conducts and coordinates employment verification of applicants with their present and/or previous employer. If not applicable, conduct over-the-phone reference check.
• Prepares recruitment materials such as brochures and promotional items.
• Performs other relevant work that may be assigned from time to time by the CEO and Department Directors.

C. Organizational Relationship

Reports to : Regional Director and CEO

Coordinates : Networks, office and field-Based candidates and employees

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A. Education and Training

The Recruiter should have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or related courses or experience in healthcare staffing account management, marketing, or recruitment.

B. Technical Requirements

Must know how to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
