- We have an opening for a mid-level to senior level software engineer in Fremont, California.
Role and Responsibilities:
We like to give our engineers as much responsibility as possible, so they get the satisfaction of building whole systems, not just a tiny part. Primary responsibilities include firmware architecture, firmware design, technical problem-solving from concept through development, verification/validation testing.

- Vision to identify multiple alternative solutions to complex problems
- Devising and performing tests to prove concepts and communicate results

- Developing test methodologies and executing verification and test plans
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional groups in embedUR and with clients
- Ensuring designs meet and exceed product specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Staying abreast of the latest technologies and techniques in your specialty
- Ability to mentor and lead junior members of the project team
- Presenting a professional, credible image with all customers

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a B.S. in Software Engineering, M.S. is a plus
Requires 8-12 years of embedded engineering experience.
Advanced engineering degrees may be considered toward the minimum experience requirement.
