Overview:
As the Senior Manager – Workforce Management & Budgeting, you will be responsible for supporting annual planning, strategy, growth and metrics for the Care & Service Center organization. You will manage key processes and provide insights related to monthly reporting of close results, forecast, headcount and annual budget. You will identify and roll out process improvements, streamline the Workforce Management function, and champion process alignment by collaborating with leaders across organization. In partnership with WF Analysts, WF Reporting Team, and CareCentrix leadership, the Senior Manager consolidates forecasting, workflow, budget scenarios, and ad hoc analyses compiled from various data sources to generate Ops resources. The Senior Manager will serve as a consultant and subject matter expert to WFM and Leadership.
The Senior Manager must be able to work independently to drive results with business leaders and WFM team members to achieve mutually agreeable outcomes within operational objectives and Workforce Management needs. This includes advanced data analysis, report compilation, and presentation of complex concepts to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Create and maintain Workforce Management templates, including workflow files and complex reporting, with a goal of standardization and uniformity; coordinate workload alignment and mapping.
- Develop comprehensive underwriting models and cost models, maintaining authorization tracking and analytics which drive underwriting; represent WFM on new business offering info meetings and project teams.
- Oversee annual and quarterly forecast review process, including communicating deliverables and timelines, creating adjustable forecast files, facilitating meetings, and providing support to senior analysts.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to lead, develop and manage the multi-department budget, including adjustable views, (labor and non-labor) in conjunction with the Cost Center owners; aggregate and incorporate into an annual corporate forecast.
- Maintain forecast and budget dashboard, including versioning and comprehensive archive; track and provide supporting analytics for growth, new business, loss of business, etc.
- Provide decision support with respect to operating models, investments in change initiatives, financial planning and developing innovative reporting to translate financial results into business impact.
- Manage the monthly forecast process to include reporting actuals, and working with Cost Center owners to develop accurate forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance, research variances, and identify risks and opportunities.
- Analyze headcount trends and related financial impact.
- Support the coordination of asset, vendor, and contract management activities and tracking.
- Effectively communicate financial information to executive level leadership and develop executive level presentations.
- Function as primary support for ad-hoc analytics and data requests for VP of WFM.
You should reach out if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance is required.
- Masters in Business Administration is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Workforce Management, with 4 years’ focus in finance and budget management.
- Expert level analytical and financial modeling with an understanding of WFM processes and oversight. This includes budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis and reporting.
- Extensive experience with cost-benefit, scenario analysis and ROI modeling.
- Intermediate to advanced skills and experience in business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
- Advanced experience in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation and mathematical skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management.
