Senior Marketing Account Manager (Onsite - Princeton, NJ)
Our client company is seeking a growth-driven Senior Marketing Account Manager to join their client service team!
This is a client-facing role that creates and facilitates the execution of sophisticated inbound marketing strategies for the company’s Financial Service clients. Working as both an individual contributor and collaboratively with the Production and Services teams, this role is responsible for helping craft and execute omnichannel strategies that help grow the company’s clients' AUM. As a Senior Marketing Account Manager, you’ll act as the client advocate, ensuring internal strategy is aligned with client goals. You’ll also serve as the primary point of contact for each client, acting as a representative of the company and the exceptional work we provide.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for up to 5 clients, acting as a client-facing consultant to identify, develop, and execute digital marketing campaigns and programs.
- Work directly with department leaders and clients to manage project schedules, assets, content and expectations.
- Identify each client’s business objectives, challenges, and key success metrics and work in collaboration with an inbound marketing strategist to build long-term project plans and prioritize tactics.
- Employ a data-driven approach to track, synthesize, interpret, and translate campaign data into tangible, action-oriented strategies.
- Plan and prioritize initiatives and opportunities accordingly with client retainers and scope of work.
- Serve as a thought leader and client advocate for agile marketing programs.
- Monitor campaigns to ensure the account is pacing well relative to budgets and targets.
- Manage any direct report ensuring professional development is being nurtured and prioritized.
An Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing account management in an agency or financial services marketing environment.
- Account management or operator experience involving client engagement around inbound marketing.
- Experience in growing relationships and building and optimizing process efficiencies.
- Efficient project management skills including experience leveraging project management software.
- Proficiency in web analytics, KPI reporting, and tracking implementation.
- In-depth experience working within advertising and tracking platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, and Facebook Ads.
- In-depth experience in Marketing Automation Software (HubSpot) is strongly preferred.
- Experience and inclination toward leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current inbound marketing and sales strategies, best practices, and associated resources.
- Strong experience providing cross-functional visibility into project status, resourcing needs, granular requirements, and dates for every phase of the project.
- Financial Services experience is preferred but not required.

$90,000 to $110,000
