The Role

As the Senior Digital Media Buyer, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Media Planners and Project Managers to fully launch, optimize, and complete online media campaigns. As a programmatic buying lead, you will be working daily within Google Display / Video 360 (along with some vendor-specific DSPs), Google Ads (YouTube, Google Discovery, & Gmail) as well as the third-party ad server Campaign Manager 360 to traffic campaigns. Depending upon the client vertical your average day may also include working in the social platforms.

The Senior Digital Media Buyer will communicate deadlines to our internal team, deliver campaign tags to vendors in advance of launch, confirm campaigns are up and running on the correct start date and are serving correctly. You’ll optimize campaigns by recommending revised bidding strategies and targeting tweaks, ensuring that our campaigns are performing as best as they possibly can while also delivering in full. You’ll review, analyze and report your performance findings using our data visualization & reporting platform (DOMO). You’ll kick off the billing process in our project management software (Advantage) to ensure campaign invoices are accurate and are sent out and received in a timely manner. In other words, you’ll be a hands-on media buying wizard, bringing our clients outstanding media results through your impeccable attention to detail.

  • Excel at troubleshooting technical issues and can drive problem-solving with vendors and team members

  • Are a superb communicator with both team members and partners
  • Are extremely detail-oriented
  • 3 years or more of Digital Media Buying experience in Paid Social and/or Programmatic

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Digital Media Buying experience in Paid Social and/or Programmatic
  • At least one year of agency work experience
  • Media Trafficking experience required
  • Knowledge and utilization of 1st and/or 3rd party data
  • Knowledge and prior use of Facebook Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, YouTube, Google Search, Google Display Network, Google Analytics Functional or Technical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs/Sheets
  • Experience in leading campaign development, management and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads, Display and Video 360, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Experience ensuring budget and pacing are monitored and managed throughout the campaign, providing accurate on-going reporting
  • Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions
