DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage the IT System Administration, NOC and Security teams including selection, mentoring, training, feedback, and performance evaluations, assigning and monitoring work quantity and quality, manage schedules for appropriate coverage of a 24X7 operation. Focus on exemplary customer service to internal and external constituents. Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and YTD reports and stats to report on progress, trends and develop business solutions. Meet regularly with management and production staff to identify issues and concerns. Identify opportunities and present possible solutions for improved efficiencies with a comprehensive plan and pricing. Communicate key performance indicators and opportunities with all levels of the organization. Foster a culture of positive continuous improvement. Create detailed documentation indicating system standards, necessities, operations, and protocols. Manage and support implementations, projects and on-going business and operational processes related to technology. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations Define, implement, and monitor and review event logs, analyze event initiation and execute appropriate corrective action/remediation on an on-going basis. Architect, Design, Implement and Support the primary security system application sets, including but not limited to: Tenable, SecureWorks, Carbon Black, FireEye, Fire Power, and Symantec DLP. Provide evidence on a defined basis to the Risk and Compliance Manager of adherence to the defined organizations security and administration policy and procedures. Coordinate with external partners internal and external pen tests. Review findings with management team and remediate accordingly. Monitor news/websites and manufacturers releases to determine what vulnerability notifications and disclosures apply to the TKG operating environments. Alert management of vulnerabilities and lead the various remediation efforts associated with said vulnerabilities. Conduct reviews and self-audits, including PCI self-assessments, wireless device audits, compensating control executions. Maintain Compliance Calendar and ensure reminders are sent and actions are taken to execute the activities scheduled in that calendar. Lead the execution of defined security “best-practice” training programs and provide compliance reports to management. Evaluate all policies and protocols for identification of non-compliance scenarios across the enterprise. Escalation points from the helpdesk for security or administration related issues (Malware/Virus/Data-Loss alerts). Partner with helpdesk pertaining to patterns of failures and research – related to recent patches, new software upgrades, etc. Responsible for the creation, maintenance and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by Confidentiality and Privacy Standards see Mass Regulations on Personal Identity Regulations and HIPPA. Defining and maintaining security-based enterprise, business unit and departmental best practices.
