The Nomura-SRI Innovation Center (NSIC) is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and customer-focused innovation
Program Manager who is capable of collaboratively working with internal and external teams and with the NSIC members, to build and deliver the NSIC corporate member program and curriculum. In this role, you will partner with the NSIC Associate Director to identify, create, and manage all aspects of the NSIC program, including program operations, content creation, and delivery.
This position,
located in our Menlo Park, CA office, reports to the Associate Director of NSIC and is part of an industry-focused corporate research group that operates across many technology and business sectors and works closely with SRI Ventures and with SRI’s research labs. This position requires 3/4 days in office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the NSIC member program from curriculum design through refinement, execution and member scaling efforts.
- Manage program execution budgets along with financial and non-financial objectives, including member engagement.
- Develop a curriculum rating and feedback process for feedback and refinement.
- Support NSIC members focus on their intrapreneurial efforts leveraging experineces in technology, business, and new business creation.
- First point-of-contact for member participants for program events, calendar, and accessing NSIC resources.
- Contribute to member business development process and write proposals for follow up services.
- Support NSIC member company innovation goals through direct interaction with their local team and as liaison to their executive leadership
- Be a spokesperson for SRI and represent SRI’s overall research capabilities at relevant industry meetings and conferences.
- Keep abreast of current Silicon Valley market, Japanese innovation, and technological developments relevant to the NSIC mission.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Business, or equivalent.
- Eight (8) years of post-grad industrial experience.
- Candidates should have a strong track record of developing and managing innovation programs with a proven ability to execute on complex tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Background in one or more fields related to R&D, product management, startups, and innovation practices.
- Experience building and maintaining client and partner relationships and leverage those relationships to secure new business.
