RPS Infrastructure is based in Texas focusing on public works and infrastructure projects. Our team of civil and environmental engineers are focused on designing sustainable and practical solutions to improve quality of life on our nation’s highways and water systems.

Our expertise has included public utilities, traffic and intelligent transportation systems, municipal services, road and bridge, land development, stormwater, environmental, TxDOT, airport, toll road, construction management, transit and rail projects. We work for public and private sector clients, and we have offices in all major metropolitan areas of the state.

Description:

RPS North America Infrastructure office in Houston is growing and looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage projects in our transportation division. Our team requires a Texas licensed professional engineer with a minimum of 15 years of experience in transportation engineering.

RPS requires experience and participation in opportunity pursuits, developing and preparing proposals, including business development and public relations activities in Houston and south Texas region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preliminary Engineering & Feasibility Studies, Schematic Design, and PS&E preparation for transportation projects for various clients and governmental agencies.

• TxDOT experience and appropriate pre-certifications required.

• Experience in conducting regular project review and reporting meetings and oversight of quality control on all assigned projects is required.

• Experience in leading project teams, including subconsultants, in performing transportation design of highways and roadways is required.

• Experience related to transportation environmental compliance, identification of environmental project needs, and finding solutions to reduce risk.

• Ensure environmental documents follow and meet accepted NEPA or client processes and requirements.

• Good marketing, communications and technical writing skills are required.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS Civil Engineering

• Licensed professional engineer (PE) in Texas.

• Experienced in working with MicroStation, OpenRoads (ORD) and GEOPAK files a plus but not a requirement.

• Must have experience in preparing preliminary engineering documents, schematics, managing budgets.

• Transportation planning knowledge highly preferred.
