Job description
Our Senior Residential Counselors provide guidance to residential staff and life lessons to young adults who are pursuing the education, training and life skills they need. You can make a social impact at the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR).
JOB DUTIES:
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree which includes 15 semester hours in social services or counseling and valid Minnesota driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time working Overnight Shift from 11:30 pm to 8:30 am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
PAY AND BENEFITS: $44,158 per year plus full benefits, including 11 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance

- Monitor and provide direction to residential staff
- Ensure safe living environment and positive atmosphere
- Patrol and monitor dorms to ensure safety and resolve problems
- Handle student passes, logs and other documentation
- Model appropriate behavior; mentor and monitor students
