Our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team is passionate about bringing our medicines and vaccines to our customers around the world, while maintaining worker health and safety as our number one priority.

Position Description:

This position will be a part of the EHS Systems team and be the EHS technical support for all EHS data analytic tools and new enterprise digital solutions. This position will work with the EHS colleagues and business leaders to identify, develop, and implement EHS digital needs. They will work with other digital and data teams to simplify and optimize how the EHS organization develops and publishes new data analytics. They will partner with the EHS Data Literacy Lead to improve the EHS data literacy culture, so EHS data is used to support EHS improvements and monitor EHS compliance.

Specific objectives will include:

  • Act as the EHS liaison between business and digital teams for the company’s EHS enterprise Business Intelligence (Qlik Sense) system.

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision to manage the Qlik Sense and to optimize the tool for business.

  • Lead the EHS Qlik Sense Community of Practice (CoP)

  • Manage and communicate the Company EHS Scorecard and company EHS metrics.

  • Manage company OSHA logs.

  • Partner with the business to identify and deliver digital solutions to increase EHS data capabilities.

  • Participate in the execution of EHS Priorities, including the GSE Digital Strategy and Data Literacy & Governance projects.

  • Assess business needs for new digital EHS solutions, to replace legacy systems with cloud and mobility services.

  • Partner with business and digital teams to identify new digital solutions.

  • Lead the implementation of digital tools by developing and executing site communication, training, and site adoption project plans.

  • Build and deliver new innovative digital solutions to assist driving EHS compliance at global sites.

  • Collaborate with vendors and other company business partners to provide EHS subject matter expertise and systems support.

  • Develop and manage assigned budgets.

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, or related technical discipline

Required Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of progressive EHS experience.

  • Team player capable of working collaboratively within a global, multi-functional team environment within and outside of the EHS organization.

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.

  • Experience working with and implementing EHS system solutions.

  • Direct experience implementing and sustaining EHS programs and strong project management skills.

  • Ability to influence both horizontally and vertically in an organization and influence without authority.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Teams).

  • Detailed working knowledge of business data analysis and visualization tools.

  • Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to prioritize based on customer needs and business goals,

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Direct experience managing a site or corporate level EHS program.

  • Direct experience building and/or maintaining a digital solution.

  • Experience with Enablon and Qlik Sense.

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:

$97,680.00 - $153,700.00
