Cognosante is seeking to fill multiple Senior Systems Administrator positions for the Department of Defense to support an Enterprise-wide IT contract for the US Army military intelligence community. The candidate is responsible for performing all aspects of systems administration and O&M functions on NIPRnet, SIPRnet, and JWICS systems at their specific duty location.. *This is contingent upon contract award.*
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for systems administration services following DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides and industry best practices to install, maintain, upgrade, and harden INSCOM’s infrastructure.
- Responsible for the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including the server network, devices and firewalls on JWICS, SIPRnet, and NIPRnet networks.
- Responsible for monitoring system performance, IT system operations and storage utilization.
- Advises government stakeholders on necessary hardware/software upgrades to keep pace with operational demands / requirements.
- Manages user accounts and assets, and assigns and updates security permissions on the network according to INSCOM’s security policies.
- May provide support with escalated help desk requests.
Required Qualifications
- DoD IAT Level III Certifications in one of the following: CCNP or CCSP certifications.
- Associates Degree
- At least three years of experience managing teams of at least 10 people.
- 3-4 years of experience in Systems Administration, Network Administration, or Database Administration
- TS/SCI Clearance
Candidates that do not meet the required qualifications will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field
- 4-5 years of experience in Systems Administration
- Communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates.

Compensation
$91,207.00 - $145,930.00
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data.
