As a member of Adtalem’s Talent Acquisition team, the Senior Talent Sourcer is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to assist recruiters in identifying candidates for targeted roles including critical openings, niche/hard to fill positions, as well as high volume roles that require a continuous candidate pipeline.


The execution of the sourcing strategies will enable the achievement of targeted time to fill goals and, the hiring of high-quality candidates across our organization and multiple brands.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies talent from a variety of sources. Serves as a resource to recruiters and hiring managers to find and cultivate candidates across all Adtalem business groups and brands
  • Builds talent pipelines through advanced sourcing techniques (ATS mining, SEO, Social Media Recruiting) across a multitude of channels to develop relationships with key professionals to create a pipeline of diverse talent for targeted positions through name generation across various markets and companies
  • Maps target organizations based on research and discussions
  • Gathers data around competition and market conditions or trends that may impact our ability to find and hire the right talent
  • Challenges the status quo through meaningful data that informs a better and stronger recruiting process
  • Demonstrates skill in recruiting research methods
  • Actively participates in intake calls with hiring managers and provides intel on market conditions that help to inform the search strategy
  • Familiarizes the recruiting team with opportunities and mediums to find talent, keeping cost and quality in mind at all times.
  • Builds strong relationships with candidates to develop a strong virtual bench and create a world class candidate experience
  • Identifies screening criteria and screens pre-qualified candidates, presenting a shortlist to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Monitors and tracks the candidate pipeline and ensures it is adequate to meet the requirements of the open vacancies
  • Develops ongoing, positive and proactive candidate relationships in order to recruit passive candidates.
  • Explores the market for sourcing opportunities, including new technologies, social media, career fairs, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, Sales/Marketing, Human Resources or related field.
  • 5 Years in Recruiting/Sourcing
  • Demonstrated experience building talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Advanced knowledge of sourcing, full life cycle recruiting, hiring process management, hiring manager interaction, time management, and technology
  • Advanced experience in Internet research, candidate mining, Boolean search, etc.
  • Advanced experience utilizing innovative sourcing/recruitment techniques to recruit passive candidates.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and meet/exceed deadlines set.
  • Intermediate presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of recruiting.
