Duties:
- Applying advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Contributing to the development of new principles and concepts.
- Working on unusually complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions.
- Developing new solutions using JavaScript, and maintaining/updating existing JavaScript code, in the private cloud platform.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and determine how to automate and integrate into the private cloud platform while adhering to all applicable policies.
- Working with teams, vendors and consultants to determine strategy for complex system changes, upgrades and implementations.
- Developing configuration and procedural documentation as necessary.
- Designing, configuring and providing administration support for the VMware vRealize Cloud Suite of products which includes vRealize Automation, Orchestrator, Operations Manager and Life Cycle Manager.
Required:
- Master's degree and 6+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in a training-related field.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
- Solid experience with Java Script, Experience in writing code using REST APIs, Knowledge and experience with virtualization platforms.
- Experience developing solutions in JavaScript.
- Experience writing code to consume REST APIs from commercial software products/services.
- Performing operations, engineering or development functions in direct support of a broad range of infrastructure services including all of the following: Operating systems, virtualization, network, storage, cloud, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid experience with Java Script.
- Experience in writing code using REST APIs.
- Knowledge and experience with virtualization platforms
