WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORChemistry is looking for a Senior Web Analytics Specialist who thoroughly understands the digital analytics space. This person will work with the CX team to help answer critical business questions in a data-driven manner. The ideal candidate will take the lead in crafting stories with data and working with our clients to enhance their digital applications to meet business KPI’s and better understand user behaviors.

The Senior Web Analytics Specialist is also in charge of identifying the areas of our solutions that should have advanced tracking, to produce quantitative information for our clients and their RIO reporting needs. As a primary Google Partner, the data analyst should have complete knowledge of Google Analytics and Google 360. The analyst will produce reports, recommendations, lead calls with the client and internal teams, and be an important member of our discovery team. Critical to this role will be the ability to marry insights with marketing investment and performance in order to guide positive change and recognize hardships. Your ability to uncover and communicate insights and outcomes will be essential.

The ideal candidate will also be a mentor for more junior analytics professionals on the team, helping them to improve their analysis and deliverables.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES

  • Help create a data-driven culture by contributing to the development of the latest tools and capabilities, through partnership with the strategy, CX and the development team.
  • Implement Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, configuring and customizing the tools appropriately
  • Develop quantitative reports from various data sets using Google Slides.
  • Set up and present dashboards that not only visualize the raw data, but provide easy-to-understand and actionable insights for the client. Humanize data into meaningful business conversations and goals.
  • Recognize hardships within a web site and work with the CX team to explain through journeys where abandonment or items of concern exist.
  • Ability to thoroughly understand business KPI’s and ensure that the digital experiences are delivering against them
  • Leverage analytical tools to understand onsite behavior and conduct pathing analysis to optimize customer experience, e.g. click through rates, golden pathways, conversion analysis, and marketing effectiveness.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing actions, recommend segmentation approaches, and deliver actionable insights to improve customer lifetime value.
  • Help manage GTM and/or event injections with the development team to produce high-end integrations of analytical software.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or equivalent position.
  • Strong sense of ownership with a bias for action and willingness to roll-up your sleeves.
  • Enthusiastic and dedicated approach to connecting with stakeholders to gain an understanding of their needs and translating those into analytical actions.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with setting up and customizing reports in Google Data Studio
  • Experience with Firebase is a plus
  • Able to travel when absolutely necessary.

  • Have demonstrated ability with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and more.
  • Are a self-starter: Can take a big idea or a complex problem, mine data to create insights, and use those insights to establish a point-of-view on the idea / problem.
  • Communicate a story using analytics to influence business stakeholders and create calls to action with business stakeholders.
  • Desire to learn and continuously stay current with industry trends, technologies, etc.
