We have an immediate need for a Server (Part-Time) to join the team at The Lodge at Bridgemill, one of United Group's, professionally managed active adult communities located in Canton, GA.

Major Tasks + Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipates the needs of residents and ensures that service meets or exceeds expectations to create a memorable and pleasant dining experience.
- Maintains communication with, and consistently supports, the Dining Room Manager and Property Manager.
- Inspects dining room, table setting, chairs, floors, and proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety concerns - takes immediate action to correct any deficiencies.
- Receives and greets all residents
- Checks tables throughout service times for resident satisfaction; resolves complaints as they occur.
- Abides by all site rules, regulations, and policies.
- Participates in daily line-up for lunch and dinner with entire dining room staff.
- Attends pre-meal line up with other servers when conducted by Head Chef or, in his/her absence, the Line Cook.
- Abides by all attire, hygiene, and personal appearance requirements per Company policy.
- Ensures all dining room supplies are stocked for service; will be required to immediately report shortages to the Dining Room Manager and/Property Manager.
- Reviews daily specials, stations, and any/all other applicable announcement.
- Assists with set up/break down of all special functions, continental breakfasts, and banquet functions as needed.
- In conjunction with Head Chef, coordinates all food service operations between kitchen and service staff.
- Reviews all daily and weekly special functions with Dining Room Manager, Head Chef, and/or Property Manager.
- Arrives to work in complete, neatly pressed attire when on premises.
- Performs any additional side work, including opening and closing procedures as directed by Dining Room Manager.
- Maintains a clean and orderly dining room at all times.
- Completes guest checks as required by departmental processes.
- Learns and understands seating chart/table arrangements.
- Understands and demonstrates all safety and emergency procedures.
- Attends all in service training/meetings.
Job Overview + Requirements:
- Job Type: Server; $18 per hour
- Work Hours: Part-Time and Full-Time schedules available; Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and Holidays as needed.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in fine dining and/or upscale restaurant, or senior/active adult (55+) living community
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand/walk for 8 to 10 hours; bend, push, pull and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Qualities: Must be professional, articulate, friendly and punctual. Ability to conduct business with enthusiasm, assertiveness, and have the ability to serve as a role model exuding a positive attitude and professional decorum. Detail oriented; regards prompt follow up to open issues as a priority. Professional presentation to be compatible with the established guidelines of United Group and Campo Felice resort-style service.
