We are looking for a Service Advisor who puts customers first, makes intuitive decisions, and multitasks while doing so. Job Details:
- Schedule the Service Department Motorcoach daily workload to ensure on time delivery of products and services
- Liaison between customers and technicians; meet customers who need scheduled servicing or repairs, discuss the customers’ requirements, and translate requirements into instructions for technicians
- Responsible for warranty authorizations and billing to manufactures; check the vehicle’s warranty or extended warranty to see if any repairs are covered by insurance or warranty
- Provide customers with an estimate of costs and give an indication of when the vehicle will be ready
- If the vehicle requires additional work beyond the original estimate, contact the customer to advise the extra cost and obtain approval to proceed
- Enter the job details in the computer system and prepare detailed instructions for the technicians together with a list of the replacement parts needed for the job
- Work directly with our Parts Department to ensure parts are ordered
- When the job is complete, hand the vehicle back to the customer, explain the work that was carried out
- Assist with operating forklift, receiving new vehicles, and other items as needed
Qualifications:
- Proficient with 12 volts wiring and be able to teach others. (we will give wiring test during interview)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Understand schematics for both wiring and hydraulics
- Passionate about the RV industry
- Great attitude and desire for self-improvement
- Enjoy working in a thriving team atmosphere
Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking along with operation of computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to clearly communicate with customers and exchange accurate, clear information
- Must be able to move objects occasionally weighing 50 pounds
- Positions self to move around, under or on vehicles to identify customer issues or desired upgrades
