Wallace Subaru/VW/Mitsubishi of Johnson City needs to hire 1 qualified and professional individual to work as a Service Receptionist. The successful candidate will work 8AM - 5PM 5 days a week with 1 hour for lunch. The successful candidate will work an occasional Saturday (less than 1 per month) and be given a day off during the Monday-Friday week when working a Saturday. You will report directly to the Service Manager, General Manager, and Assistant to the General Manager. You will be primarily responsible for fielding incoming service calls and scheduling service appointments. You will be expected to become comfortable opening repair orders, providing status updates to customers, and following up with customers. Upward Mobility - Advancement Opportunity - We would expect this position to progress and develop into a Service Advisor position at the dealership. You should be comfortable with technology and communicating with customers in person, through email, over the telephone, and via text message.

Purpose/Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the customer has a great impression of the Dealership through a warm greeting over the telephone or in person and through proficient and accurate completion of tasks.

Ensure that incoming telephone calls are answered promptly and professionally.

Schedule incoming telephone calls into service appointments that result in open repair orders.

Ensure that messages are delivered timely to the correct dealership personnel.

Become proficient with dealership software and scheduling tools.

Deliver great customer satisfaction scores

Open and close service repair orders.

Develop appropriate and timely communication skills with customers.

The Service Receptionist should expect compensation in the $11-$12 range plus bonuses.

This is a great opportunity for someone without experience that is interested in the Automotive Industry and particularly the Service Department. We would expect the successful Service Receptionist to develop into a Service Advisor.
