Mountaineer RV & Outdoor Center is fa family-owned business that not only sale RV's, we offer Kayaks and numerous other retail items for RV's. The posted position if full time with benefits, rotating days and offers competitive wages.

Primary Job Functions:

• Communicates and models company initiatives, goals and policies towards company, co-workers, vendors and customers.
• Maintain a safe work area for customers and co-worker.
• Examine, troubleshoot and diagnose units that need repair and maintenance performed, including, but not limited to PDI.
• Completes assigned portion of MPI on every unit in a timely manner.
• Install, repair and maintain interior and exterior components on motor homes, travel trailers, pop ups, toy haulers and fifth wheel trailers.
• Present a thorough adequate walk-thru with customers at time of purchase, in a part of PDI prep if needed as an overflow.
• Installation of accessories, performing pre-delivery PDI inspections, reading and writing of repair orders, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges and air conditioners: repair to fiberglass, body and structural components and the ability to install, repair, replace and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, slides, vent, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets and electrical systems.
• Technicians will be required to install trailer and fifth wheel hitches, wire tow vehicles and perform routine maintenance and or repairs on the trailer frames, undercarriage and suspensions.
• Use of testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, and the ability to repair to manufacturer's specifications.
• Use of manuals, catalogs, and internet search as needed to perform proper diagnostics.
• Use of electronic and computerized instruments to perform diagnostics.
• Ability to communicate with supervisors, warranty, Customer service advisor and service managers and manufacturer representatives.
• Ability and desire to obtain and Certifications and Licenses that are required.
• Take adequate pictures when requested.
• Complete paperwork consistently and accurately to properly report time.

Qualifications:

• Willing to complete training and obtain further knowledge.
• Strong customer skills as demonstrated my friendly and enthusiastic customer service.
• Ability to utilized computer software to enter data related to repairs.
• RV Service Technician and/or auto mechanic experience.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and flexible to work assignment changes.
• Task oriented with high attention to detail.
