SERVICENOW DEVELOPER

Candidates must be local to NY metropolitan area as one day a week is required onsite in NYC;

4 days remote

The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for providing technical and development support for current and future instances of the ServiceNow platform. Will support ongoing ServiceNow continuous improvement projects of existing ServiceNow implementation for a banking enterprise. The ServiceNow Developer will collaborate with a diverse workforce and be able to communicate effectively in obtaining requirements from stakeholders, while working with the team to build upon the existing ServiceNow foundation.

This is a new ServiceNow team and a big part of the job will be customizations, troubleshooting and best practices, especially for ITSM platform. A big focus of the role will be to develop new workflows. In addition, changes, enhancements, and back-end scripting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Provide technical support on all break-fixes for the platform.
• Implement, enhance, and customize existing and/or new applications within ITSM; provide analyses when required.
• Deliver new functionality within our current instance based on IT and business requirements.
• Create workflows, notifications, and catalog items.
• Enhance current and future modules/applications within existing environments.
• Manage all ServiceNow requests from stakeholders.

SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 6+ years of ServiceNow Development experience.
• ITSM, ITIL, CMS, LDAP experience.
• HTML, CSS, Java Script, SQL, PL/SQL
• MySQL, SQL Server experience required.
• Customized scripting: ServiceNow catalog, email, workflows.
• Design form layouts, workflows, modules/applications.
• Various forms, and associated client scripts, UI policies, including advanced customizations requiring modifications of UI/pages/macros.
