WHO WE NEED:
As a growing company, we are always looking for new team members to help us continue in our success. Currently, we are hiring Material Handlers who will be primarily responsible for loading trailers located in the Shipping department.
Serious candidates only. This is an extremely physical job that requires meeting strict performance, attendance, and safety standards.
Schedule: 4AM, 6 AM or 8 AM MON - FRI with no definite end time, avg. 10 hrs. per day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by efficiently sorting and/or loading hardware related items on trucks or trailers. The Shipping Department Material Handler also checks merchandise and insures the product is loaded in the proper delivery sequence.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must understand how to read truck loading forecast summary.
• Must be able to set up a truck run by truck load forecast summary.
• Must be able to identify and sort by customer stop code.
• Must be able to operate a hand held scanner.
• Understand how to stack pallet appropriately to avoid customer service issues.
• Must understand how to load and secure.
• Capable of obtaining power equipment certifications; electric power jack, walker/rider, and forklift.
• Communicate any truck run changes with transportation.
• Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must
• Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines

Physical assessment, drug and criminal screening required.
