SUMMARY:
Assist in management of inventories and inventory transactions. Identifies and compares counts and weighs of outbound and inbound shipments, verifies information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Assists the Logistics Manager and Shipping Supervisors to effectively and efficiently perform S&R operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership, support and training for all team members
- Assist S/R Warehouse Manager, Supervisor and SuperLead in management of all Inbound and outbound loads.
- Participates in promoting a respectful and safe work environment
- Responsible and accountable for assigning and directing the work of team members to ensure maximum productivity
- Communicate any discrepancies and/or performance issues to the Supervisor or Warehouse Manager in a timely manner.
- Follow, interpret and apply company GMP, policies, and procedures to team members.
- Verify outbound (preloads) documentation prior to shipment
- Assist with inventory counting at period end
- Floor 95%
- Assisting in the picking and pulling of orders.
- Verifying accuracy of employees pulling and scanning product
- Implementation and oversight of all safety, quality and efficiency programs
- Assist in ensuring shipment of all FedEx’s Orders
- Ensure that before leaving all required work has been completed
- Good attendance is a must.
- Must be flexible to working overtime and weekends
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED/ Or a combination of education and experience
- Displays responsibility for being punctual
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills / Accurate Data Entry
- Good Verbal/Written communication skills
- Solid Organizational Skills/Detail Oriented
- Problem Solving and analytical skills
- Proven Ability to Multi-task
- Must work well independently and with a team
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and a rapidly changing environment
- Proficient in English/Bilingual skills a plus
- Basic computer skills (Excel)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Cold Temperature: < 40 °F Cooler < 0 °F Freezer
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme cold temperature. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
