Skills required

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • PC and computer application skills (Excel spreadsheets, word processing, Witron Order management system, Kiwi Order scheduling system, Microsoft Outlook Email, etc.)

Duties

  • Coordinate all outbound shipments including scrap bales via IP approved carriers.
  • Coordinate shipment of material to third party warehouse, reconcile inventory, vendor and manage drop trailer pool with warehouse vendor
  • Develop and edit as need daily shipment plan in Witron order management system
  • Resolve issues with shipment plan and other issues in Witron that prevent completion of bill of lading and final shipment process
  • Create master shipping log to identify shipments, ready time and delivery time
  • Communicate planned shipments to carriers as needed.
  • Attend twice daily order review meetings when needed.
  • Maximize outbound load efficiency by combining loads with stop offs.
  • Seek approval before releasing less than 11,000 lb shipment.
  • Communicate master shipping log to IP forklift drivers.
  • Communicate and coordinate changes in shipment requirements to appropriate carrier and to IP forklift operators.
  • Schedule dock appointments as required for specific customers.
  • Communicate and assist in resolution of any late deliveries, driver detention and drop trailer availability issues with daily deliveries.
  • Track drop trailers, maintain status of loaded trailers at plant yard and offsite warehouse location. Maintain loading boards.
  • Create bills of lading in IP order system for outbound loads as needed.
  • Spot trailers at IP plant as needed
  • Other duties as directed by appropriate IP management personnel.

This is a third shift position.
