JOB TITLE: SHIPPING QUALITY CONTROL

NARRATIVE: Monitors quality of fruit from receiving point through final product shipping.

SUPERVISES: Not applicable

BASE RATE: Depending on Experience

SHIFT: 7:00AM – 3:30PM or more when overtime is required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Understands the Quality guidelines for various Customers

· Inspect boxes for shipping to ensure the fruit meets the buyer’s standards.

· Knows grade requirements as detailed by USDA and packing warehouse

· Places fruit in repack status if applicable.

Will be working in a cold environment in a fast paced position.

This is a full-time year-round position.

Salary: $15.75 - $17.00 per hour

• Fruit warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
