SHIPPING SUPERVISOR– NORCROSS, GEORGIA

The Shipping Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for:

· Managing the daily pulling, staging, validation, routing and loading of all outgoing shipments

· Managing the daily driver assignments and validation of execution.

· Manage routes to balance efficiency, shipping cost, and world class service.

· Maintain a clean fleet presentation that represents the company well.

· Load trucks in accordance with DOT guidelines and company safety regulations

· Ensure proper handling and execution of all shipping paperwork.

· Ensure a World Class Delivery experience for each customer.

· Ensure a 99% or better accuracy rate on outgoing shipments.

· Create and maintain a working environment where all members find enjoyment and satisfaction in their work and function as a team.

· Build rapport with the entire team and customers to ensure a smooth flow of information and product.

· Become and expert of the full product line and become highly proficient in all related software.

· Create a customer experience that far exceeds the competition and the customer’s expectations.

· Keep Warehouse Manager apprised of every error, root cause, and measures taken to prevent further failures.

· Close the building down and secure the facility at the end of the day.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

· Available to work 8am-6pm Monday-Friday

· High School diploma or GED

· At least 2 years of experience routing and overseeing the loading process

· Experience in Industrial Distribution

· Sheet Metal shipping experience preferred

· Experience in HVAC is a plus

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

· ERP experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
