EAST LYME: Showroom Sales Associate
O&G Industries, Inc., is an innovative and diversified construction and building materials company based in Torrington, CT. Closing in on our 100th anniversary, we are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction and material supply companies in Connecticut.
We seek a full-time Showroom Sales Associate for our brand-new East Lyme, CT location. The Showroom Sales Associate will be responsible for providing extraordinary customer service. The ideal candidate is an active listener who can identify customer needs to suggest and sell appropriate product solutions.
You can present product options in a professional manner and generate sales across all product categories to help achieve overall sales goals. You vigorously follow-up on all open quotes and sale inquiries to convert to a sale. You follow-up on customer orders and perform regular customer outreach to reconnect and reactivate dormant accounts or specific target customer groups to generate interest and business.
Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated strong work ethic, attention to detail, and be competent in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel. We like people who love to work with customers and provide extraordinary customer service.
Saturday hours are required.
