DeepSight Technology Inc. is calling all electrical engineering, materials science and engineering, physics, and related field graduates to apply to join our team full-time as a Silicon Photonics Engineer in our St. Louis, MO or Santa Clara, CA office.

YOUR LIFE AS A SILICON PHOTONICS ENGINEER
In this role, you are key to the manufacturing of our unique sensors. As part of our optical device development and integration team, you work on the design and manufacturing of silicon and other types of on-chip photonic components. You take part in the development of fabrication processes and the implementation of those processes through a foundry or contract manufacturer. To verify performance, you assist with the testing and characterization of the resulting components. Once design plans are complete, you lead, generate, and conduct formal verification and validation. You also conduct technical design reviews with the project team and independent subject matter experts across the company.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, materials science and engineering, physics, or a related field
- Experience in design, fabrication, and/or characterization of fiber-chip couplers and on-chip optical devices such as microresonators, lasers, optical gain elements, detectors, modulators, and other integrated waveguide devices
- At least 5 years of industrial experience with semiconductor or nano-fabrication process in a photonics product development role
