For over 60 years Lorne G. Seifert, LLC has been providing concrete construction services to general contractors and owners in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Our in-house capabilities have grown over the years with the ability to handle all aspects of a project from foundations, flatwork, exterior concrete to excavation and grading.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking highly motivated Site Foremen for our growing concrete business based in Dillsburg, PA. Work is primarily in Central PA and surrounding areas.

Ideal candidates will ensure the completion of each job assigned while maintaining the complete satisfaction of the General Contractor. This individual will monitor and supervise manpower to assure maximum productivity while minimizing costs and risks associated to our employees.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Supervises assigned crew/team
• Evaluates performance and disciplines as required
• Responsible for job layout and reading of blueprints
• Completes required paperwork, such as timesheets, units of production, daily logs, etc.
• Assures compliance with safety and OSHA regulations on the jobsite
• Re-enforces cleanup of job site at the end of each day
• Works closely with other crew members
  
• Performs other duties as assigned/needed
• Follows all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently and repetitively
• Experience with hand tools associated with the trade
• Knowledge of Trimble layout system; a plus
• Must be able to read blueprints and cut sheets
• Must have the ability to supervise crews
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred
• Must be reliable and have the ability to work overtime as required
  
• Must pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
