Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Center in Wake County.

MUST HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testing
• Pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening
• Pass the OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training
• Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and able to follow verbal and written instructions
• High School Diploma or GED

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide great customer service to Wake County Residents who visit the HHW drop-off

Identify, categorize, and segregate chemical waste TRAINING PROVIDED

Forward leads to account manager as identified from participants not eligible for HHW program (includes businesses and hazardous waste “generators”).
