This is a Full time night shift position working in Sleep Lab department.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Oro Valley Sleep Team. Our focus is on high quality care care through patient assessment, critical thinking skills, time management and teamwork.
Summary
Under the direction of a physician, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results, and collects and transmits biological specimens for analysis. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent and certification as a polysomnographic technician. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
