Job Purpose

Utilize social media skills to grow a following and build brand awareness of Pacific Historic Parks in support of its mission to Remember, Honor and Understand World War II in the Pacific. PHP has five parks under its umbrella including Pearl Harbor National Memorial, home to one of our nation's most iconic war graves, the USS Arizona Memorial. PHP also supports Diamond Head State Monument, Kalaupapa National Historic Park, War in the Pacific National Historic Park (Guam) and American Memorial Park (Saipan).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, Schedule and post compelling content to platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and possibly to other sites with growing audiences
• Follow conversations and, in conjunction with the director of communications, interact
• On occasion work with other departments in PHP such as Education and Marketing to help our non-profit grow
• Prepare regular analytic reports and summaries
• other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Social Media Platforms
• Solid time management skills
• Proficient Writer and Photographer
• Ability to handle information in a confidential, objective, and professional manner
• Strong Organizational Skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
