POSITION: Software Developer

LOCATION: Fully remote with availability to visit Franklin, TN office as requested.

HOURS: Monday through Friday, 40 hours

Up to $90k/year Depending on Experience; 2-5 years of experience REQUIRED

The Software Developer and Support Specialist will be part of the team responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by the end users. Review each ticket and ensure the issues are resolved in a timely manner or escalated to another team member. Document any issues and actions taken to meet the needs of the client. The specialist will communicate and work with the client’s IT team to integrate with their current infrastructure.

The specialist will develop solutions to new or emerging problems and test prior to implementation. The specialist will work with client and non-client vendors to build integrations or APIs. Build to the current medical standards held by HL7 (Health Level Seven, Inc) and other software accreditation teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPER AND SUPPORT SPECIALIST:

  • Help build and test new features or applications based on business and client needs
  • Contribute to software design, building, testing, implementation, and support
  • Be a strong communicator to facilitate discussions with non-technical members and stakeholders
  • Communicate with end users regarding issues and provide knowledgeable and effective solutions
  • Identify root cause of production issues and write tests that provide the proper test coverage
  • Work with team to identify problem areas and provide solutions to the issues
  • Troubleshoot and find the cause of a variety of issues (Windows Server, SharePoint server, SQL server, Software errors)
  • Document all knowledge into a shared repository for historical logging and error resolution
  • Write PowerShell Scripts to make changes for all clients
  • Communicate changes and downtime with team and clients prior to effecting the change

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years' experience in C#.Net Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF/XAML) with demonstrated experience in building complex multi-threaded apps and custom controls
  • Preferred experience in languages/frameworks: C#, HTML, JavaScript, CAML, XML
  • Hands on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Industry experience with automated testing and CI/CD tooling
  • Ability and willingness to refactor existing portions of non-conformant code to adhere to coding standards and best practices
  • Ability to come up with creative/practical solutions to complex issues
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written & spoken)
  • Prior Agile/SCRUM team experience
  • OnPrem Server administration experience
  • The ability to build and grow customer relations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or other Cloud platforms.
  • Experience with digital imaging and/or medical standards.
  • Previous end-to-end architectural experience (Full-Stack).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
  • Working knowledge of HL7 (orders, results, and scheduling) and its guidelines is a plus
  • Capacity to adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Knowledge/Experience with: ASP, MVC, XSL, XSLT, Office 365, SharePoint Framework, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, PowerApps, Flow, Azure Function Apps, PnP.
