WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop Microservices / Fullstack software used by our internal and external customers.
- Work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment in a pod of 4-8 developers and designers delivering complete features for the end user.
- Work with the Cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, Microservices, SQL/NoSQL Databases, Web applications, and some legacy systems.
- Work closely with other team members in guiding software architecture and technology decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM
- A passion for software development, focus on quality and working in teams.
- 3+ years working in software development teams.
- A solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Experience with several of JAVA, Python, HTML/Javascript, GO, PHP, SQL, Kubernetes, and any Cloud Services.
- Contributes to design discussions from end to end, able to identify needed improvements in code, comfortable writing unit and functional tests
- Able to self teach new frameworks
- Able to understand complex or poorly documented code
- Identifies and mitigates risks, comfortable with Pager Duties
- Recognizes when it is appropriate to refactor for performance versus maintainability
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work well with others, learn on the job, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- A focus on Quality as delivering value to our customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following is a bonus: Google Cloud Services, Typescript, Docker, Terraform, Datadog
