Overall Responsibilities:

• Bug monitoring & fixing
• Debugging and troubleshooting
• Provide reports to the test engineering team on identified bugs
• Continuous process improvement for productivity and release velocity gains
• Process management including bug submission, triage, tracking and reporting
• Experience with software troubleshooting, creating steps to reproduce and filing bugs with engineering team members

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

• Review incoming lacros feedback reports, and triage reports in order to open bugs to the Product team
• Reproduce and investigate bugs
• Track status of open bugs and work with gTech and Product team to make sure the right bugs are being prioritized to be fixed

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory -Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong experience with test infrastructure, automation, and tools development
- Strong knowledge of test domain from unit testing, integration testing, to end to end testing
- Experience in leading cross functional efforts, interfacing and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in test automation, root causing test infrastructure bugs, and translating bug root cause into future enhancements
- Experience in opening, writing and triaging bugs
- Coding experience in one of the following: Python and/or Go
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, QA methodology and techniques

Desired - Working experience with Chrome OS

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
