The Software Engineering Manager supervises and provides technical direction to one or more implementation teams made up of software and test engineers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Leading and growing a team of software engineers in an Agile environment
• Collaborating with Architecture, Product Management, and Application Support
• Improving team productivity and the software development processes
• Encouraging and inspiring innovation to deliver new products and functionality
• Recommending strategies for complex technical problems
• Production support and troubleshooting

YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3 years leading, mentoring, and developing technical talent
• 7+ years experience in software development
• Strong understanding of one or more of the following technologies:
  • Object Oriented languages such as C# or Java
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, and Angular
  • SQL Server or other relational databases
  • Public cloud hosted solutions like Azure, AWS, GCP
• A love for technology and a passion for learning new things
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:

• Experience leading agile teams
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
