HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer. This position is in direct support of DoD Projects and Program Offices in Manassas, VA

Responsibilities:

• Develop components within Jira (or associated applications), to include: new projects, workflows, custom fields, interfaces, reports and custom plugin development. Support data migration or integration from other systems, as defined by user requirements (i.e., DOT tickets).
• Support, review and provide input on technical requirements and work estimates based on functional requirements.
• Manage deployment activities. Implement components between development and production environments.
• Identify and resolve issues and bugs that affect the functionality of our Jira instances.
• Perform testing on Jira development tickets implemented in development and production environments.
• Configure and test the functionality of plugins for relevance/enhancement to our Jira environment.
• Provide assistance/feedback to general users who report issues via the program's Jira help e-mail distribution.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering Technology or related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
• 1-5 years software development experience.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Desired:

• Experience with Atlassian JIRA / Confluence.
• Experience with Workflow Development of for issue/CM tracking applications (e.g. Jira, Trac, SharePoint, SolidWorks PDM, Git, or similar workflow/configuration management tools).
• Experience with permission management, project development and migration, and troubleshooting issues.
• Experience with software development / Integration using C/C++, Java, Shell Scripting, Database development (e.g. SQL).
