:
The Solutions Architect-Finance role is responsible for supporting, evaluating, designing and configuring finance computer systems and software to meet the needs of the business. The role is expected to solve complex business problems in the areas of finance, operations, human capital, customer, governance, risk and compliance, using SAP technologies. This positions is a hybrid role based out of our office location in West Palm Beach, FL.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review the Global Financial processes and provide recommendations/solutions to harmonize them using SAP S4. Continue to look for improvements to streamline finance processes globally.
- Provides guidance in the definition of solution design practices and standards that link back to SAP best practices.
- Responsible for establishing and providing leadership to the technology strategy and technology roadmaps for enterprise capabilities in finance. Drives change that moves technology and the business forward - managing/solving the most complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business.
- Participates in the development of cost/benefit analysis.
- Partners with the Product/Process Owners in evaluating and aligning the technical design and strategy with the product roadmap involving finance applications.
- Ability to lead and facilitate design workshops (Blueprint), assessments, planning sessions i.e. demonstrate leadership experience in project management.
- Work with a team of Finance specialists and assist in configuring the solution (must have hands-on configuration experience in SAP S4 and ECC).
- Make recommendations on implementation of the SAP applications, as well as integration with third party systems.
- Ability to learn and support non-SAP applications that are critical to the finance business process.
- Ability to perform quality control on the finance portion of an implementation project.
- Conduct work effort estimation and develop work plans.
- Work with Global stakeholders such as the business and IT clients.
- Demonstrate cross functional leadership i.e. ability to look at the end to end process and understand how it fits together.
- Guide and Mentor other SAP FICO Analysts in the SAP team.
- Adhere to project plans, tasks, and deliverable; identify dependencies and resource requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact during IT and business audits that might include internal controls, SOX, etc.
- Work with vendors in assessment, newer technologies, implementation and build a working relationship.
- Appropriately communicates project status, escalates issues, and manages timelines and action items.
- Develops proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed technical solutions.
- Develops and maintains working relationships with a diverse group of business, functional and technical teams.
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or recent and relevant work experience in Information Technology field
- Experience in Business Knowledge, Software Engineering Leadership, Technical Solution Design, Negotiating, Change Management and Continuous (Service) Improvement.
- 7+ years’ experience in various leadership roles in the planning, design and deployment of SAP’s ECC and S4 financial solutions.
- Involved with 3-4 End to End SAP Project Implementation. SAP S4 implementation with the knowledge on New GL is a must.
- 7+ years’ experience in SAP FI and CO modules - General Ledger (GL)/New GL, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA), CO Profitable Analyst (COPA) and Fixed Asset Accounting.
- Experience and proficient in Business Analysis

- Experienced in trouble shooting system & data issues
- A basic knowledge on Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) methodology is a plus.
- Self-sufficient team player with the ability to cooperate with user community and lead projects from beginning to success.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed to support our business.

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
