The Sophomore Explorers Program, which is a full-time, month-long career exploration and professional development opportunity, encourages those who will enhance the diversity of our organization to apply. During the Sophomore Explorers Program, motivated undergraduate sophomores will gain insight into careers in Fixed Income Capital Markets, Equity Research, and Investment Banking. Participants will also have an opportunity to develop their analytic and practical skills through in-depth training and projects. Additionally, each participant will become acquainted with experienced Stifel professionals through networking opportunities, a mentorship program, and a speaker series. This is a hybrid program, with both virtual and in-person components. The program culminates with Stifel bringing the participants together for an in-person capstone in New York City.

By the end of the program, participants will have a deeper understanding of the financial services industry in general, and Stifel's Institutional Group businesses in particular. Successful participants will be considered for a Summer 2024 internship role in the division that best matches their skills and interests.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree; anticipated graduation between December 2024 and June 2025
• Interested in exploring careers in financial services
• Demonstrated track record of achievement in academics and extracurricular activities
• Driven, proactive, and team-oriented
• Exceptional problem solving, analytic, and Microsoft Office skills
• Minimum 3.5 GPA
