Blue Sea Education Consulting is seeking a Staffing Specialist to join our team in our Smithtown office. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to be a part of a collaborative team that helps children to receive high quality special education services.

Position overview:

The Staffing Specialist is responsible for identifying and placing appropriately experienced and credentialed therapists and educators who provide special education services as requested by client school districts. The Staffing Specialist utilizes superior communication and organization skills to maintain contact with providers to ensure adherence to mandated school district policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understands and follows with fidelity Blue Sea Standard Operating Procedures.
• Interviews, identifies and assigns providers to staff cases requested by school districts.
• Builds rapport with providers to ensure compliance and enhance company growth.
• Tracks and reports key performance data ongoing to the management team.
• Completes tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Superior customer service, and oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Takes initiative and manages workflow independently.
• Critical thinking and problem solving, a must.
• Energetic, confident and positive attitude required.
• Computer proficient with MS Office Suite; online Blue Sea Operating System training provided.
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent.
• Experience with, and/or passion for Special Education preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
