Change Management -

  • Leads and controls moderately complex change management projects, including product launches or enhancements, changes in BNY Mellons services, enhancements to existing businesses, operational support enhancements, risk and security enhancement or changes driven by regulatory bodies.
  • May perform project management for full projects or phases of projects.
  • Incumbents are building breadth of knowledge on the firms products/services and are gaining exposure to more complex client accounts and issues.
  • Works mostly independently and may provide guidance to more junior Change Management roles.
  • Delivers and implements projects that involve moderately complex, high quantity, sometimes contradictory information.
  • Problem solves to adhere to strict deadlines and standard project process/implementation methods.
  • Identifies and manages goals, risks, issues and resources and ensures QA process is applied throughout each project/service lifecycle.
  • Constructs effort-driven, resource-levelled project plans for assigned projects.
  • May provide project management for full projects or workstreams within larger programs.
  • Facilitates project meetings and workshops as appropriate.
  • Produces outputs from project group sessions and reports on issues to relevant parties for sign off.
  • Analyzes issues and uses growing knowledge of the business to propose solutions.
  • Presents proposals and provides reasoning to more senior Change Management roles.
  • Monitors project process, risks and issues through weekly reports, CAIR log, project plans.
  • Escalates issues that will significantly impact project delivery to relevant parties.
  • Assists more junior roles with issue resolution.
  • Coordinates project post-implementation reviews.
  • Communicates effectively and frequently with Project Initiators, Technology, Operations and/or the Client and ensures regular communication among these groups.
  • Has some understanding of the commercial environment and competitors products and seeks opportunities to better understand the organization.
  • No direct reports.
  • May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Manages moderate sized internal and external projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in Project and Change Management or experience within one or more of the asset servicing functions is preferred.

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $73,100 and $80,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
