Job description
The Speech Therapist is an integral part the care team that helps change the lives of our patients and residents each day. As a Speech Therapist you are responsible for assessing the need for, developing and delivering speech therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation in an interdisciplinary environment including:
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance
- Identifying need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the needs of the patient
- Instructing, educating and training patients and caregivers in the essential skills and functions needed to promote patient independence, productivity, and quality of life.
Position Requirements
- Valid Speech therapy license in NY
- Basic computer literacy skills
